History and Heritage
The Black Grouse represents the very best of Scotland and: Contains some of the world's finest malts (including Highland Park and The Macallan). Is married and bottled in Glasgow. Has its spiritual home in Crieff at Glenturret - Scotland's oldest and most visited distillery. Is owned by an independent company headquartered in Perth.
Matthew Gloag established his much-respected family grocer business in 1800. Decades later, third generation Matthew Gloag introduced The Famous Grouse, a whisky that would become known for doing things differently. So, it's no surprise that in 2008, year of blender creating a new whisky representing the darker side of The Famous Grouse. The Black Grouse is a full-bodied taste sensation inspired by Scotland's extroverted feathered character of the same name, and offers a unique and unrivaled taste for longstanding whisky drinkers and newcomers.

Preparation and Usage:
Black and Black
1 Take a clean highball glass
2 Fill it with fresh, solid ice cubes
3 Squeeze in a wedge of orange and drop it into the glass
4 Measure in 25ml The Black Grouse
5 Top up with cola, stir and serve
Each Black and Black contains 1 unit of alcohol.
Dark Dream Soda
1 Fill a clean highball glass with fresh, solid ice cubes
2 Squeeze in a wedge of lime and drop it into the glass
3 Measure in 25ml The Black Grouse
4 Add 12.5ml Vanilla syrup
5 Top up with lemonade, stir for 3-5 seconds, and serve
